When Coffee Went Corporate, Quality Got Lost. Our Family Kept It.
Big brands traded taste for scale. For three generations we've refused — protecting authenticity, heritage and taste in every cup since 1959.
Family Owned & Operated
A Gulf Coast Tradition, Poured Fresh Every Morning
In 1959, the Hill & Brooks name was founded on a simple belief: the South deserved a truly great cup of coffee. From our roastery on Halls Mill Road in Mobile, Alabama, we began sourcing the highest quality coffees and teas on the planet and carefully crafting them into exceptionally great tasting blends.
Sixty-five years and three generations later, that belief hasn't changed. Every bean is still roasted in small batches. Every blend is still cupped and approved by family. And every customer — from a single household to the busiest restaurant on the Gulf Coast — is still treated like a neighbor.
What We Stand For
The Three Words on Our Label
Authenticity
No shortcuts, no imitations. Real beans, real leaves, real recipes — roasted and blended exactly the way we promise on the bag.
Heritage
Sixty-five years of Southern craft, passed hand to hand through three generations of the same family.
Taste
The final judge of everything we make. If it doesn't taste exceptional, it never leaves the roastery.
Milestones
Six Decades of Craft
Hill & Brooks is founded in Mobile, Alabama, roasting its first small batches of coffee for local families and businesses.
Southern sweet tea joins the lineup, brewed from a family recipe that quickly becomes a Gulf Coast staple.
Commercial services expand — equipment installation, repair, and dedicated delivery routes bring the Hill & Brooks standard to restaurants and offices across the Southeast.
Signature blends like Colombian 1835, Jubilee, and Azalea City earn shelf space in grocery stores throughout the region.
The third generation carries the craft forward — same roastery, same family, same promise: authenticity, heritage, and taste.
